This is a collection of some my previous works, in various mediums. I chose the field of art therapy, after finishing my undergrad degree in fine art, because I truly saw the value in creative expression. I began to appreciate the art making experience as I noticed it helping me move through my own past experiences. I have the utmost respect for the creator in us all. Art can enable us to show emotional expression and enable us to become vulnerable with ourselves and with another. These images here are to also to show that we all have a little artist inside us all. We just have to let them shine and steal the show for a bit.

The above collection are part of a tryptic series included in my graduation thesis at Lewis and Clark College. These are mixed media paintings showcasing and representing how we can contain parts of ourselves. That releasing those contained parts may be crucial to our own growth and healing.
